I've only been going to Dr. Golden for about seven weeks, but I feel 100 % better. Alot of pain I was getting in my back is gone and the strange feeling I was getting in the top part of my back from shoulder to shoulder is gone. Coming to Dr. Golden was the right thing to do and I'm glad I did.

Dr. Golden cares! She educates and encourages along the way. Her office is a professional environment. She is an asset to the community of Union and is helping many people to feel better. What I like best about Dr. Golden is that she listens, answers all questions, and has taken the time to get to know me.

Dear Dr. Golden,

After nearly 20 years as a construction laborer, nearly every disc in my back and neck where either bulged, decayed or pinching a nerve. The pain had become unbearable. My job had even taken steps to retrain me as an office worker but the simple repetition of answering a busy phone or typing correspondence were often too painful for me over an eight hour day.

Unbeknowest to me, my case was complicated by exposure to toxins during the clean up of ground zero. The inflammation that was in my nerves and joints became crippling. Asthma, emphysema, and grandulomas in my lungs robbed me of my energy. Reoccuring bouts of bronchitis and sinusitis required nearly monthly rounds of antibiotics. My immune system was almost destroyed.

I never really considered chiropractors an option until the doctors at Mt. Sinai Hospital who were studying my sypmtoms mentioned some studies that said it would be affective for my asthma.

You, Dr. Golden, came highly recommended by numerous friends and neighbors as a devoted and empathetic healer as well as a knowledgeable and capable chiropractor. I must admit I was skeptical at first, but now, after just a few months of regular treatment, not only do I feel far more flexible but also my asthma symptoms have become more manageable. My lungs have become clearer.

Your treatment has helped increase the number of "good days" that I have and has lessened my use of pain killers. The haunting prospect of spinal surgery does not seem in my immediate future. For this I will be forever grateful.

Dear Dr. Golden,

As you know, when I came to you for my first visit I was in excruciating pain. I had to resort to taking a lot of pain killers just to get through my day. If I drove anywhere, it took me a couple of hours to walk upright again. When I got up from my desk at the office I had to stand for several minutes before I could walk. The worst thing was the sleepless nights. I never made it through a whole night without waking up several times to take pain killers or rub some kind of pain killing cream on my back and leg. None of these methods of relieving pain actually worked. They were all stop-gap.

Then I found your name in the Suburban News. I had been to chiropractors before, some helped, some didn't. I decided to give it one more try. I explained to you that other doctors I had visited had been a little rough with me and I needed a lighter touch. You agreed to treat me any way that would make me comfortable. You tried a different method to adjust me and it worked. Within two months of regular visits my pain was gone, not just covered up with medication but completley gone. I now sleep through the night and feel like a new person. I fully expect that with regular follow-up visits I will stay pain free.

I now enjoy driving again. I can sit through a show and get up and walk afterwards. I can take care of my little grandchildren and get them in and out of their car seats. I'm enjoying life again like a younger person. If someone had not experienced the pain and inconvenience that I did for so long they would not understand how wonderful it is to find a doctor like you that could pinpoint my problems, fix them, and maintain them.

Dear Dr. Golden,

Little did I know when I came to you for back and leg pain, that you would help me so much with my sinuses as well.

I have had terrible sinus problems for over 20 years. I could hardly breath out of my nose and completely lost my sense of smell.

I've been taking perscription allergy pills for years, but they never seemed to make me feel 100% better and they made me feel drowsy.

After being under your care for only six weeks, I have been able to stop taking the allergy pills, I can breath through my nose, AND I'm actually starting to get my sense of smell back.
