Angela Garbarino
Weight Loss Coach

Mentoring and helping others improve health is a passion of mine.  After experiencing my own health and weight struggles almost a decade ago, I successfully lost the weight which reversed several health conditions. Life for me before my weight loss journey was not enjoyable.  I remember the frustration, negative self-talk, exhaustion, brain fog, terrible digestion, and generally feeling terrible. Today, I am healthy, energetic, and vibrant. Pre-diabetes – gone, Hypothyroidism – gone, PCOS – gone…And there is NO GOING BACK!  Through my journey I learned valuable lessons that served me well. These are the tools I eagerly share with my patients today. I strive to help others open a new chapter of their lives for a new healthy body so they too can feel as wonderful for lifelong success.  As an educator and weight loss coach, I’m here to help each individual. I tailor coaching sessions to the needs of each person, as we all have our own unique struggles. Maintaining a healthy weight is really about putting all of the puzzle pieces of life together to fit in agreement to complete a total picture to create a picture of healthy living.  Nutrition is a big puzzle piece; however, other big pieces include lifestyle habits, stressors, & self-care to name a few. These are all important concepts I coach patients through for skill-building along the way. I’m there for my patients when they need me. Good communication is key in the patient-coach relationship. No judgements, just accountability and relatability.  I’ve been there too. As a native of New Orleans, I love and enjoy food too! I have adapted and evolved so I can now enjoy food in a healthier way to prevent a yo-yo diet pattern. Today I am a wife and proud mother of two children and so blessed to be able to share my knowledge with others. Coaching for me is not just a job, but an honor and a calling.
